Deputy Director, Civilian Human Resources Agency
Mr. Peter C. Hosutt began serving as the Deputy Director of the Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA) in June 2018. In this capacity, he is responsible for providing comprehensive civilian human resources services, advice, and support to Commanders, Directors, and employees at installations and activities throughout the Department of the Army and to selected DOD agencies. Mr. Hosutt manages operations in Headquarters CHRA and the CHRA regions in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Mr. Hosutt’s experience in the Federal service spans over 35 years with the Department of Defense. Previous assignments include the HQ CHRA Training Management Division, Northeast Region Civilian Personnel Operations Center (CPOC), APG MD, Southeast CPOC, Fort Benning GA, Europe CPOC, Seckenheim, Germany, Civilian Personnel Office, Heidelberg, Germany, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Texas, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, and Frankfurt Civilian Personnel Office, Germany.
Mr. Hosutt has extensive experience in the implementation of Department of Defense (DOD) initiatives such as the National Security Personnel System (NSPS) Defense and Defense Performance Management and Appraisal System (DPMAP).
